The ALFA Senior Living Executive Forum brings together more than 150 senior living executives from across the country annually who meet at the Forum to network and engage in focused discussions about critical issues facing the senior living industry. Attendees are empowered to discuss challenges and opportunities while exploring solutions together to advance business excellence in senior living. 

ALFA is hosting this year's Forum at the Loews New Orleans Hotel on November 12-13, 2014 where attendees will hear insights from world-class speakers and other innovative industry members. For all guests arriving on Tuesday, November 11th, ALFA will be hosting a networking Mix & Mingle at the Loews New Orleans Hotel Bar from 5:45pm to 7:00pm.

The Forum is an invitation-only event for members of ALFA's Executive Roundtables and President’s CouncilRoundtable members work together to transparently discuss and dissect key issues to help industry peers find solutions to help grow their business. President's Council members also discuss industry objectives and trends. 

Networking

Senior executives have the opportunity to share business intelligence, reconnect with peers and forge new contacts. The Forum offers an unparalleled opportunity to advance the collective interests of the senior living business.

Roundtables

These invitation-only peer groups are comprised of seasoned senior living professionals from a variety of disciplines who meet to discuss business challenges and opportunities while offering guidance to their peers.

Sessions

These educational discussions provide an intensive learning and collaborative environment focusing on relevant topics to the senior living business today and in the future. Participants will learn from and interact with experts in a variety of fields.

ALFA hosts world-class speakers to provoke thought, stir passion, sharpen business acumen and even make you smile.

 

Lt. General Russel Honoré (Ret.) is perhaps best known for stepping in to take charge and restore order and hope after the devastation on the Gulf Coast left by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. New Orleans' mayor called him "one John Wayne dude." General Honoré is chairman of the Louisiana Bicentennial Commission, a board member of the Louisiana Recovery Foundation and a member of the National Academy of Public Administration. He is the author of "Survival: How a Culture of Preparedness Can Save You and Your Family from Disasters" and "Leadership in the New Normal," which details how to be an effective leader in the 21st century. He retired in 2008 after 37 years of active service with the U.S. Army.
